This Barefoot leather halter has two exchangeable crown pieces – both with a horse friendly function.
If the horse has to be tied securely, you can use a locked crown piece that is made from soft nubuck leather with thermo elastic padding. It is formed anatomically to fit the horse´s poll so that the onset of the ears is free from any pressure.
If you need to tie and to turn-out your horse, you can use a crown piece with a panic release function. It is doubled and attaches with velcro. In case the horse should panic, step into the halter or get hooked to a fence, the velcro fastening will open and the animal can break free, thus avoiding the worst… The crown piece is softly padded with real lamb wool.
The halter can be adjusted to any horse along the nose band. The tie ring is movable. The cheek piece and nose band are padded softly. The throat latch is sewn round, and it closes with sturdy snap-hook.
