Description
Barefoot’s “Arizona Nut” is a horse friendly, classy western saddle that is made from Brazilian calf leather. The leather is crafted and tooled by hand into a small basket pattern. The seat is very deep so you are near to the horse’s back at all times. The seat is made of suede leather seat, and this saddle comes complete with matching fenders and leather covered and tooled stirrups.
“Arizona Nut” is very adjustable and flexible on the horse, and also comfortable for the rider. The skirts are short and round to accommodate short backs, and it is also well suited for horses with slightly higher withers.
There are 6 D-rings, and conchas with leather strings for attaching various items. A tie strap and and an off billet (made from nylon) are also included. The fiberglass pommel can be exchanged as always with a Barefoot, and size “wide” is included in the saddle. The stirrup attachment can be positioned as needed.
Main features:
- Flexible in all 3 dimensions (X,Y,Z)
- No peak pressure and no limits to movements and build up of muscles
- With the VPS system
- Ideal for short backs
- Weighs just 7 kg (without fenders and stirrups)
This classy western saddle is made from sturdier leather as we need a harder base for the pattern tooling. Therefore, the “Arizona Nut” takes longer to mould to your horse’s back than other saddle models.
Barefoot’s western saddles are permitted at most western shows (EWU, AQHA, etc.)
