This is a cavesson from our “Shape it!” series, which means you can shape it yourself to match your horses’ nose perfectly.
During basic training, groundwork and lunging aids should reach the horse as precisely as possible – especially on the horse’s sensitive head. Most cavessons used for this training unfortunately slip back and forth on the nose/head and this makes precise “on the spot” aids quite impossible.
That is why we developed a nose piece that incorporates a sturdy, bendy wire. The noseband is shaped around this wire and can therefore be fitted perfectly to each individual horse’s head. The nose piece stays in better position and does not slip.
This cavesson is wide and comfortably padded. It has 5 integrated rings to allow for many possible uses. It is even suitable for bitless riding – the reins can be buckled to the outer rings. For lunging, use the middle ring or one of the side rings.
We recommend using this noseband in conjunction with the Barefoot “Physio” contour headpiece, which conforms perfectly to the horse’s head, leaving the sensitive eye area free. Of course, this cavesson can also be used with any standard headpiece.

- Size 0 PONY: 57-66 cm
- Size 1 COB: 63-73 cm
- Size 2 FULL: 67-77 cm
- Size 3 DRAFT: 76-85 cm
